AMW:MICRO:040112A large group of viruses that cause HUMAN PAPILLOMAVIRUS INFECTION, e.g., GENITAL WARTS and cancer of the CERVIX; VAGINA; VULVA; ANUS; or OROPHARYNX. Most common clinically important human papilloma viruses are taxonomically members of ALPHAPAPILLOMAVIRUS and GAMMAPAPILLOMAVIRUS.
